Fire Safety Awareness Training
The aims of Fire Safety Awareness Training course are:
- To make all personnel fully aware of the dangers associated with fire/smoke and toxic gases
- To give a brief outline of the associated Legislation
- To make participants aware of the classification of fires and different types of fire extinguishers
Duration:
Half-a-day
Number of Participants:
Maximum 15
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course participants will:
- Become aware of dangers associated with responding to a fire
- Become familiar with Fire Safety and other relevant Health and Safety Legislation
- Know mechanics and classifications of fires
- Become aware of various types of fire extinguishers and the use of same
- Know the basics of fire safety

All instructors of this course are current or former full-time emergency personnel with over 20 years of training experience.
