Emergency Response Team Training
Introduction:
Our Emergency Response Team (ERT) training course provides participants with skills and knowledge to deal with foreseeable emergencies in the workplace:
- Fire
- Explosion
- Chemical spill
- Personal injury, etc
Participants will learn the correct procedures for all incidents that may occur and will be able to deal with emergency situations in efficient and clam manner prior to the arrival of Emergency Services.
The course content will be customized to suit requirements of the Organization and level of current training of Emergency Response Team members. Our Emergency Response training is generally delivered on Customer sites, but training days can also be organized at the state-of-the-art off-site Emergency Response Training facility in the Dublin area. We strongly recommend that at least one training day is completed in the ERT facility, where we can simulate various emergency scenarios.

2-5 days, depending on Customer requirements

Maximum 15
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course participants will be able to:
- Operate a system of Command and Control
- Take control of an emergency until replaced by Emergency Services
- Use all types of fire fighting and chemical spill response equipment
- Fight the fire and deal with chemical spill
- Operate berating apparatus
- Perform search and rescue, etc
Who should attend?
All members of on-site Emergency Response Team, including Team Leads and First Aiders

- Legislation (Fire Services Acts, Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act, etc)
- Role of Emergency Response Team
- Command and control
- Use of breathing apparatus
- Understanding fires
- Fire fighting procedures (locating and fighting the fire)
- Using all types of fire fighting equipment
- Chemical spill response procedures
- Working in heat and smoke
- Search and rescue
- Practical fire response exercise
- Practical chemical spill response exercise
- Practical personal injury response exercise
- Practical exercise wearing breathing apparatus, etc
About the Instructor:
All instructors of this course are current or former full-time emergency personnel with over 20 years of training experience.
