Emergency Response Team Leader Training

Introduction:

Our Emergency Response Team (ERT) Leader training course is designed to equip Emergency Response Team Leaders with necessary skills to efficiently manage the following foreseeable emergency  scenarios:

  • Fire
  • Explosion
  • Chemical spill
  • Personal injury, etc

Participants will be trained to make quick and right decisions in emergency situations prior to the arrival of Emergency Services.

The course content will be customized to suit requirements of the Organization and level of current training of Emergency Response Team Leaders. Our Emergency Response Team Leader  training is generally delivered on Customer sites, but training days can also be organized at the state-of-the-art off-site ERT facility in the Dublin area. We strongly recommend that at least one training day is completed in the ERT facility, where we can simulate various emergency scenarios.

Duration:

2-3 days, depending on Customer requirements and current level of training

Course Objectives:

On completion of the course participants will be able to:

  • Identify the role of Emergency Response Team Leader
  • Allocate team duties and tasks
  • Identify elements of teamwork and leadership
  • Carry out emergency response exercises
  • Supervise breathing apparatus teams
  • Carry out debriefing of Emergency Response Team members, etc

Who should attend?

All current and perspective Emergency Response Team Leaders. Previous experience in the use of Breathing Apparatus is required.

About the Instructor:

All instructors of this course are current or former full-time emergency personnel with over 20 years of training experience.
