Contractors Control
Introduction:
Everyone in control of workplaces has a legal duty under 2005 Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act to manage their contractors. Contractors are used to carry out occasional jobs or can be part of your workforce.
A person organising contracting work needs to ensure that:
- Work is adequately risk assessed;
- Contractor is in possession of a valid safety statement;
- A method statement has been prepared and approved;
- Contractors have provided adequate documentation;
- Contractors are adequately supervised;
- Contractors are familiar with your Company procedures, etc.
We can develop Contractors Management procedure unique to your Organisation to ensure that all contract work is completed safely and without injuries to either your employees or contractors.
Please give us a call, fill in our Enquiry Form or E-mail us for further details.
