The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Chemical Agents) Regulations apply to any workplace where hazardous chemical agents are used. Objectives of the course:
- Explain the routes of entry of chemicals into the body;
- Identify the health effects of chemicals;
- Identify warning symbols and labels;
- Classify hazardous chemicals;
- Explain Material Safety Data Sheet;
- Explain exposure control methods;
- Communicate requirements of New Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances Regulations.
