Breathing Apparatus Training
Introduction:
Our Breathing Apparatus training course provides necessary skills for all those who wear breathing apparatus and other associated equipment to safely use it and understand all aspects of the operating procedures.
Participants will be trained to make quick and right decisions in emergency situations prior to the arrival of Emergency Services.
This course is available both on customer site (in-house training) and off-site in our Emergency Response Training centre.
Duration:
1 or 2 days, depending on Customer requirements and current level of training
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course participants will be able to:
- Identify the elements breathing apparatus set and ancillary equipment
- Carry out tests on breathing apparatus set
- Donning and doffing of breathing apparatus set
- Manage Entry Control procedures
- Work in heat and smoke
- Clean and service breathing apparatus set
Who should attend?
All who are required to wear Breathing Apparatus sets
About the Instructor:
All instructors of this course are current or former full-time emergency personnel with over 20 years of training experience.
