Safety Responsibilities for Managers

This course is designed to make Directors, Senior Managers and Line Managers aware of their legal and moral obligations with regard to occupational health and safety in their organisation. Managers have health and safety responsibilities under Section 80 of 2005 Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act. The course will also equip Management team with key information necessary to manage health and safety.

Course objectives:

At the end of this course, the participants will:

  • Have understanding of their legal duties under the current health and safety law
  • Be aware of their moral obligations towards stuff under their control
  • Become aware of health and safety legislation applicable to their workplace
  • Become aware of key principles of health and safety management.

This course is run in-house and participants will be issued with certificates on successful completing of the course.
